CRS Electronics was one of the charter Lighting Facts partners and one of the first LED lamp manufacturers to submit product information, performance claims, and LM-79 test results to DOE for verification of its claims. CRS continually monitors its products' performance in an in-house lab and sphere using industry standards and test procedures for solid-state lighting. The data is readily available for verification on request.

CRS Electronics' legacy product is an LED MR16 replacement for halogen lamps, which is one of the more difficult standard lamp types to replicate for CRI, CCT, and CBCP. The prominent placement of the Lighting Facts label on the CRS website, printed material, and electronic signatures has given potential customers and specifiers confidence in the company’s product claims and is one of the deciding factors behind a purchase. The Lighting Facts partnership has also given CRS the opportunity to participate in energy efficiency rebate programs offered by utilities for commercial ratepayers.
