Give them the Facts.

Do your LED lighting products really perform as promised?

Not all LEDs do. Use the Lighting FactsCM label to tell your buyers just what they can expect.

Luminaire manufacturers who join SSL Quality Advocates pledge to include the Lighting Facts label on product packaging or in product literature. The label reports product performance results in five areas from actual test data* in accordance with industry standards measuring photometric performance of LEDs:

  • Luminaire light output
  • Efficacy (lumens per watt)
  • Measured power (watts)
  • Correlated Color Temperature
  • Color Rendering Index

The Lighting Facts label is registered to the U.S. Department of Energy. Only Lighting Facts labels that are provided by and in accordance with the SSL Quality Advocates program and Lighting Facts Product registration process are allowed. Any manufacturer or agent who reproduces, alters or recreates the Lighting Facts label outside of the program requirements will be subject to penalties of trademark infringement and will not be allowed to participate in the SSL Quality Advocates program.
